  • I have offered online therapy since 2017, long before Covid. Some of my clients choose to be 100% online and others choose to have it as a backup. One of the big reasons I have offered it is because I specialize in working with busy women and mothers, and sometimes things don't go as planned. Even my in-person clients will choose to have telehealth as a back up for when they have a sick kid, a snow day or other challenge and they don't want to cancel their appointment. Clients can easily change an appointment from in person to online by texting me if needed, even last minute.

You will have access to a portal and all telehealth will be conducted through my HIPAA secure system.

We can still address all of the same issues, just mediated by a screen.

Please note: All clients must be in Colorado due to Licensure regulations.

  • Yes! And I have no intention to stop.

I believe that there is power in presence, actually sitting with each other in the same space. We all experienced that longing for connection during Covid, when zoom coffees and cocktail parties weren't cutting it. As a therapist, I can see more complete nonverbal signals. As a client, it often feels more supportive when someone is face to face.

  • Traditional 50-minute sessions are $175.

    Intensives are as follows:

    3-Hour In Office $600

    3-Hour In-Home Post-Birth Intensive $700

    1 Day Intensive- $1250

    2 Day Intensive- $2500

  • My services are direct, self-pay only. I can take credit cards, HSA cards and FSA cards.

For traditional therapy sessions, I can provide a super bill which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Each insurance is different and many have high out-of-network deductibles before they pay anything. If this is important to you, call your insurance to verify what your out-of-network benefits are and what the procedure is for submitting superbills, should you choose to do so.

Insurance does not reimburse for therapy intensives.

  • Before your first appointment, I will send you a bunch of paperwork to fill out. The more complete this is before our first session, the faster we can through the businessy stuff. and get down to the deeper, more meaningful stuff.

In our first session, I will go through your information with you and then we will dig right in to what brings you to therapy. By the end of our first session, we will be formulating goals and making a plan of how to reach them.

During the first session, we are getting to know each other, and starting to get a feel for what it will be like to work together. If for any reason, you don't feel like I am the right fit for you, I encourage you to find the right fit! Healing happens in the context of relationship. Research shows that the biggest factor for whether a client experiences change through therapy, is whether they feel comfortable with and a connection to their therapist. Healing happens in the context of relationship.

  • It depends....

Some clients find the help they were looking for in just a handful of sessions or in an intensive. While others, see me for an extended period of time.

Some of the factors that may influence this might be: how long you have been dealing with the issue, the intensity of your experience/emotions around the issue, whether the issue is ongoing and outside of your control, and many others.

My therapeutic orientation is more toward helping you as quickly as possibly, so you don't need me anymore. So we start talking about termination from the beginning and I celebrate with you when you feel ready to take that step.

I believe everyone can benefit from therapy at different times in their lives. Some of my clients meet their goals, terminate and then come back years later when a new issue presents and they know where they can come for support. My door is always open to past clients.
